Practising only free expression, Nicolas does not feel photographer, although using this medium and mastering its techniques. Far from the photography of news, sport, wedding etc., which he has never practised, he feels often closer to painters in the way he makes and approaches things. He's dedicated himself to his researches, far from any economic concern.

 An original is a fine-art print, made by the artist in the rules of art, signed, and limited / numbered as few copies

  In photography, a series represents a limited number of originals, a size, and a paper type:
Two art papers, depending on photographs :
Mate paper, 100% cotton : Hahnemühle PhotoRag™ 308g/m².
Baryta paper, glossy and smooth : Harman Gloss Baryta 320g/m².

  Originals are numbered (from 1/9 to 9/9) and signed by hand on the back. Fine-art Giclee prints are the result of a demanding process that provides prints capable of lasting over 100 years. Each original comes with a certificate of authenticity and bill.

Exhibition prints are excluded from numbering and not for sell (HC). Each original is registered in a secured database, provinding traceability, continuity in the numbering, and the end of an edition. Any authentification can be also insured on simple request.
No reprint and no reproduction (unnumbered edition) will be realized, outside, possibly, of artist books in small edition.
